Thank you for choosing HeartWriting to shape beautiful, heart-centred and motivational copy for your business, brand, and new website!

To create an enticing brand identity for your business, I need to get inside your mind, understand your brand, and undertake detailed competitor research to understand how to best develop your written brand identity so that you stand out amongst competitors – while increasing Google traffic to your site.

I will personally build the perfect tone and writing style to showcase your brand and mission using a range of advanced writing and marketing techniques. I’ll also adopt a unique approach that will capture the hearts of your readers and clients.

I draw together all your business information, personal story, competitor research and brand offerings – and shape the full website, adopting your freshly designed brand tone and style. Typically your website will consist of 2000 – 4000 words, and will equate to 10 – 15 hours work over a span of 2 – 3 weeks, until we have the final product that you are guaranteed to love.

But first, I need your knowledge. To create an engaging brand, it’s important to start with your foundations. Why does your business exist? What is your business mission? Who are your ideal customers? What value do you bring to your clients/customers?

Branding isn’t just about looking visually appealing; it’s the essence of your business. This process is about creating a cohesive brand that practically sells itself.

Take your time as you answer these questions. You can skip a question if you like, and we’ll talk in person about it later. Just reach out if you need some help. Let’s get started!

The USP answers the customer’s question: “Why should I buy this (from you) instead of that (from elsewhere)?
Make it exciting, compelling, and of course – unique. This one statement is going to help you sell yourself and your offering better than any marketing plan. Most of all, your USP statement has to do this: 1. It will help people solve a specific problem 2. It will sound compelling for your dream client. 3. It will invoke immediate desire – “I must have this in my life now to make my life easier/better.”
Factors that can influence how you communicate with your audience can include: Demographics – age, ethnicity, gender, culture, economic status, interests, and forms of engagement. Positioning = how will you look and feel attractive to your target audience? This is more of a feeling evoked. I.e. how will you position yourself to be attractive, different and appealing to specific people?
A mission statement is a short paragraph (two or three sentences) that describes what your business does, why it exists, and what your goal is. A mission statement sets you apart and will help shape your brand identity. If you’re having trouble with this, our copywriters can help you.
A brand promise is a clear statement of purpose, that relates to the brand’s users, and what makes the experience of the brand desirable. Promise = action: what things will you specifically deliver.
A vision statement describes where the company aspires to be, the end goal of its mission. Like a mission statement, it should be short, descriptive, and aspirational.
A brand’s values guide and direct a brand’s actions. They articulate its purpose, shape its structure, and define its intent. The brand values define the promise. Promise = action: what things will you specifically deliver based on your values.
If your brand was a person, what would its personality be? How would it feel? Create a short description of your brand’s personality.
Buzz words help to position your brand and differentiate it from its competitors. These words capture the essence of your brand, the benefits for your customers, and favourable associations. Positioning = how will you look and feel attractive to your target audience?
Positioning = how will you look and feel attractive to your target audience? This is more of a feeling evoked. I.e. how will you position yourself to be attractive, different and appealing to specific people?
Are people engaging with your brand in person, on your website, social media, print or in a physical or digital marketplace? What feelings do you want to invoke e.g. excited, motivated, hopeful, calm? Positioning = how will you look and feel attractive to your target audience? This is more of a feeling evoked. Ie how will you position yourself to be attractive, different and appealing to people?

Rose and the HeartWriting team

Writing techniques

I've studied creative writing in a host of forms, from degrees, freelance writing diplomas, and finally a rigorous and expensive creative writing masters degree. As an experienced educator and professional writer, I know that writers need more than the average classroom experience. HeartWriting distills the gems of my learnings into an inspiring, heart-opening format.

heart-brain connection

Meditation and movement helps to open the creative floodgates between the heart and the brain. It’s easy to access our innate creativity as children as our brains operate on low-frequency, creative brainwaves, right up until the age of 12. When high-frequency, logical brainwaves start kicking in, it’s so much harder to step back into an abstract space, where all the magic of the creative process occurs.

spiritual philosophy

Say hello to your inner spirit, your true nature that exists within you — beyond your thoughts and personality. Once you find out who this inner spirit is, your creativity will soar effortlessly, in ways you perhaps dreamed but thought impossible. The only thing stopping you from being a heart-filled, successful writer, is yourself. Release limiting beliefs by adopting meaningful new philosophy.

creative community

I offer people the opportunity to connect deeply with other writers. This helps to quell the fearful voice, ultimately providing you with a core community to fall back on when times get tough. In writer workshops, you’ll get to know likeminded writers in a safe online setting where you can post and share pieces, give and receive feedback, and chat about the writing process.
